A Certificate for Both Clinical and Non-Clinical Health Care Professionals

This certificate is appropriate for non-clinical professional health care workers as well as professionally licensed health care workers such as RNs, social workers, respiratory therapists or other allied practitioners. Coursework will cover a broad array of care management topics and, coupled with health care experience, may help prepare you for certification in case management. Credits can also be applied to the WilmU B.S. in Nursing and B.S. in Health Sciences degree programs.

You’ll be prepared to work in diverse settings, including acute care facilities, outpatient clinics and private practices, health insurance agencies, and workers' compensation organizations. Median annual salaries for board-certified case managers have increased in recent years and are well above median pay for RNs and social workers.
