Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy |
|
| This undergraduate STEM degree program sets you on the path toward a rewarding career as an environmental scientist, specialist, consultant, policy analyst, educator, writer or park ranger. This program is offered face-to-face and in an innovative online format. Online students receive extensive lab kits for home preparation along with close guidance from faculty who are active practitioners.
Combining an interdisciplinary knowledge foundation with meaningful hands-on experiences, this program focuses on critical thinking and hypothesis testing, as well as scholarly writing and the use of scientific and digital tools in problem solving.
Students benefit from WilmU’s affiliation as a member institution of the Delaware Space Grant Consortium, a program funded by NASA to train students and researchers in the areas of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and geography. Additionally, through partnership with the Delaware INBRE program, WilmU fosters scholarship in biomedical research through study and internships with other local universities and employers. |
