The WilmU College of Business is piloting a section of BBM 320 Business Communications in a Spanish immersion format. This option is ideal for our students who speak both Spanish and English and would prefer instruction in Spanish, either for increased comprehension or as an opportunity to improve language acquisition.  
  • Online LIVE class format (virtual class sessions held live via Zoom).
  • Instruction provided in Spanish by a native Spanish-speaking professional.
  • Course assignments administered and received in English.

Business Communications (BBM 320) | Comunicaciones de Negocios

Learn to master the communication mechanisms needed to run successful organizations, including formal and informal reports, proposals and various communication channels. Hone the soft skills needed for improving interpersonal communication, embracing diversity and inclusion, examining communication barriers and cross-cultural communication. This course also examines effective presentations, business etiquette, meetings, technology and emerging trends in job searching.

This course and its credits can be applied to all College of Business certificate programs as well as undergraduate degree programs in:

Sandy Flores, PhD, SHRM-CP
Dr. Flores is an assistant adjunct professor at WilmU's College of Business (COB) and a dynamic, bilingual leadership development professional. She has taught a more than 10 COB undergraduate courses, including Principles of Management, Business Communication, Global Business Management and Human Resource Management.
